Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.5 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Directions

Step 1

Season both sides of the pork chops with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, and dried thyme. Whisk until smooth.

Step 4

Place the seared pork chops in the bottom of the crock pot in an even layer.

Step 5

Pour the sauce mixture over the pork chops, ensuring they are fully covered.

Step 6

Cover the crock pot with the lid and cook on low heat for 6 hours or on high heat for 3 hours, until the pork chops are tender.

Step 7

Once cooked, remove the pork chops from the crock pot and set them aside on a plate.

Step 8

In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water to form a slurry. Stir the slurry into the sauce in the crock pot.

Step 9

Turn the crock pot to high and let the sauce thicken for about 5–10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 10

Serve the pork chops with the thickened sauce drizzled on top. Pair with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
