Ingredients

  • 6 pieces Chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 0.5 cups Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoons Dried oregano
  • 0.25 teaspoons Red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

Step 3

Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, sear the chicken thighs skin-side down for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Flip and sear the other side for another 3 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Step 4

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until aromatic.

Add the ketchup, soy sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
