  • 6 pieces Sardines in olive oil
  • 1 loaf Baguette or crusty bread
  • 120 grams Cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Capers
  • 2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 piece Garlic clove

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Slice the baguette into 12 thin rounds and place them on a baking tray.

Step 2

Drizzle the bread slices with 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and toast them in the oven for 5 minutes or until golden and crisp.

While the bread is toasting, finely mince the garlic and parsley and set aside.
