Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2.25 teaspoons Active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Warm water (110°F – 115°F)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 0.75 cup Pizza sauce
  • 1.5 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Ham slices (diced)
  • 0.75 cup Pineapple chunks (drained)
  • 0.5 cup Cooked bacon (crumbled)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried basil

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Stir gently and let the mixture sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.

Step 2

Add the olive oil, salt, and 2 1/2 cups of flour to the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.

Step 3

Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes, gradually adding the remaining flour if the dough is sticky.

Step 4

Form the dough into a ball and place it in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Step 5

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.

Step 6

Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a 12-inch circle on a sheet of parchment paper.

Step 7

Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Step 8

Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by the diced ham, pineapple chunks, and crumbled bacon.

Step 9

Sprinkle the dried oregano and basil over the toppings for extra flavor.

Step 10

Transfer the pizza (with the parchment paper) onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.

Step 11

Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool slightly, and slice into wedges. Serve warm and enjoy!
