Ingredients

  • 1 cup Broccoli florets
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Cream cheese, softened
  • 4 pieces Sourdough bread slices
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.5 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoons Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Steam or microwave the broccoli florets until tender, about 3-4 minutes. Once cooked, chop them into small, bite-sized pieces.

Step 2

In a medium bowl, mix the chopped broccoli with shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Stir until evenly combined.

Butter one side of each sourdough bread slice using the softened butter.
