Total Time:25 mins
Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Salmon fillets (skin-on)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Step 2

Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 3

Once the skillet is hot, place the salmon fillets in the pan, skin-side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.

Step 4

Flip the salmon fillets and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

Step 5

Reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Step 6

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, and lemon juice. Pour this mixture into the skillet with the garlic.

Step 7

Stir the sauce and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.

Step 8

Return the cooked salmon fillets to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top to coat them evenly. Let them heat in the sauce for about 1 minute.

Step 9

Transfer the salmon to plates or a serving dish, drizzle with any remaining sauce, and garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.

Step 10

Serve immediately with your choice of side dishes, such as rice, vegetables, or a salad.
