Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless pork loin chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Pat the boneless pork loin chops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Step 2

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add the pork chops to the skillet.

Step 3

Sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set them aside.

Step 4

Reduce the heat to medium and add butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in minced garlic, fresh rosemary, and thyme. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 5

Pour the chicken broth and lemon juice into the skillet, scraping the bottom of the pan to deglaze and pick up all the brown bits.

Step 6

Return the pork chops to the skillet. Spoon the sauce over the chops and reduce the heat to low. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 7-10 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145°F (63°C).

Step 7

Remove the pork chops from the pan and let them rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.

Step 8

Optional: Serve the pork chops with the pan sauce drizzled on top and a side of your favorite vegetables or mashed potatoes.
