Ingredients

  • 400 grams Frozen edamame (in pods)
  • 1 teaspoon Coarse sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice
  • 4 cups Water

Directions

Step 1

Fill a medium pot with 4 cups of water and bring it to a boil over high heat.

Step 2

Add the frozen edamame to the boiling water and cook for 5-6 minutes or until the pods are tender and bright green.

Step 3

While the edamame is boiling, zest the lemon to measure out 1 teaspoon and juice the lemon to obtain 1 tablespoon of fresh juice.

Once the edamame is cooked, drain it in a colander and immediately transfer it to a mixing bowl.

Sprinkle the edamame evenly with the coarse sea salt, lemon zest, and fresh lemon juice while it’s still warm. Toss well to coat.
