  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.25 cup Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional for garnish)
  • 0.5 tbsp Olive oil (for greasing the pan)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a standard loaf pan with olive oil or line it with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, and 3/4 cup of salsa verde. Mix gently but thoroughly to avoid overworking the meat.

Add the panko breadcrumbs, eggs, minced garlic, diced onion, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Gently fold in 1 cup of the shredded Mexican cheese blend, ensuring it is well distributed throughout the meat mixture.
