Ingredients

  • 250 grams Salmon filet, skinless
  • 3 stalks Scallions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 20 pieces Won ton wrappers
  • 1 piece Egg, beaten (for sealing)
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 2 tablespoons Red vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce (for dipping sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated (for dipping sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Water

Directions

Step 1

Dice the salmon finely and place it in a medium bowl.

Step 2

Add the chopped scallions, minced ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil to the salmon. Mix well to combine.

Step 3

Lay a won ton wrapper flat on a clean surface. Place about 1 teaspoon of the salmon mixture in the center of each wrapper.

Step 4

Brush the edges of the wrapper with the beaten egg. Fold the wrapper diagonally to form a triangle, pressing gently to seal the edges tightly.

Step 5

Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or wok over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Step 6

Fry the won tons in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Step 7

To make the dipping sauce, whisk together red vinegar, soy sauce, grated ginger, honey, and water in a small bowl until well combined.

Step 8

Serve the hot won tons with the ginger red vinegar dipping sauce on the side. Enjoy!
