Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Salmon fillets (skin on)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 4 pieces Lemon wedges (for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Step 2

Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.

Step 3

Place the salmon fillets in the pan, skin side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the skin is crispy and the salmon is halfway cooked.

Step 4

Carefully flip the salmon and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Step 5

In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream, prepared horseradish, lemon juice, chopped dill, and minced garlic. Stir until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

Step 6

To serve, place a salmon fillet on a plate and spoon a generous dollop of horseradish cream over the top.

Step 7

Garnish with fresh dill and serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra splash of freshness.
