Ingredients

  • 4 pieces (6 oz each) Salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons (grated) Fresh ginger
  • 4 stalks (sliced thinly) Green onions
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 2 cloves (minced) Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoons (to taste) Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons (to taste) Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Step 2

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season them on both sides with salt and black pepper.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix together the grated ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and lime juice to create the marinade.

Step 4

Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down. Brush each fillet generously with the marinade.

Step 5

Sprinkle half of the sliced green onions over the salmon fillets, reserving the rest for garnish.

Step 6

Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon and place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.

Step 7

Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork (internal temperature should be 145°F/63°C).

Step 8

Once baked, remove the salmon from the oven and transfer it to serving plates.

Step 9

Garnish the salmon with the remaining sliced green onions and serve immediately. Pair with steamed rice or sautéed vegetables for a complete meal.
