Ingredients

  • 14 ounces Canned salmon (boneless and skinless)
  • 0.5 cups Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 0.5 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 0.5 cups Sour cream
  • 1 tablespoons Dill (fresh, chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Honey

Directions

Step 1

Drain the canned salmon and flake it into a large mixing bowl.

Step 2

Add breadcrumbs, egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl with the salmon. Mix until well combined.

Step 3

Using your hands, form the mixture into 6 equal-sized patties.

Step 4

Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Step 5

Cook the patties in the skillet for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Step 6

While the patties are cooking, make the dill sauce by whisking together sour cream, dill, lemon juice, and honey in a small bowl. Season with a pinch of salt if needed.

Step 7

Serve the salmon patties warm with a generous dollop of dill sauce on top or on the side.
