Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Baguette
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 200 grams Smoked salmon
  • 1 Roasted red capsicum
  • 10 Kalamata olives
  • 100 grams Cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon zest
  • 2 sprigs Fresh dill
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).

Step 2

Slice the baguette into 1 cm-thick slices, yielding approximately 16 pieces.

Step 3

Arrange the baguette slices on a baking tray and brush each side lightly with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Step 4

Toast the baguette slices in the oven for 7-8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside to cool slightly.

Step 5

Peel and very finely mince the garlic cloves. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic with the cream cheese, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and set aside.
