  • 2 sheets Puff pastry sheets
  • 20 slices Salami slices
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 1 tablespoon Flour (for dusting)
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Lightly dust your work surface with flour and roll out one puff pastry sheet to ensure it’s smooth and even.

Step 3

Lay the first puff pastry sheet on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 4

Layer the puff pastry sheet with 10 slices of salami, ensuring even coverage, and sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese evenly over the salami.

Place the remaining 10 slices of salami on top of the cheese and sprinkle the rest of the cheddar cheese over this layer.
