  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 inch piece (sliced) Ginger

Step 1

In a medium-sized saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil over medium heat.

While the water is heating, lightly crush the cardamom pods with the back of a spoon to release their aroma.
