Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pizza dough
  • 0.5 cup Marinara sauce
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 20 pieces Pepperoni slices
  • 0.5 lb Cooked Italian sausage
  • 0.25 cup Black olives, sliced
  • 1 cup Baby spinach leaves
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp All-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp Butter, melted

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Lightly dust your work surface with 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour and roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, approximately 12x16 inches.

Step 3

Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Step 4

Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by the pepperoni slices, cooked Italian sausage, black olives, and baby spinach leaves.

Step 5

Top with the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella and the grated Parmesan cheese.

Step 6

Carefully roll up the dough, starting from the long edge, into a tight log. Pinch the seam and ends to seal.

Step 7

Place the Stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 8

In a small bowl, beat the egg with 1 tablespoon of water to create an egg wash. Brush the egg wash evenly over the Stromboli.

Step 9

Use a sharp knife to make 5 small slits on top of the Stromboli to allow steam to escape.

Step 10

Sprinkle the garlic powder and dried oregano over the top for added flavor, then brush with 2 tablespoons of melted butter.

Step 11

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.

Step 12

Remove from the oven and let the Stromboli cool for 10 minutes before slicing.

Step 13

Serve warm with extra marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
