Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Tilapia fillets
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
  • 4 pieces Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Season both sides of the tilapia fillets with 1 teaspoon of the Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

Step 2

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the tilapia fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until lightly golden and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3

In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 4

Pour the heavy cream into the skillet, stirring well to combine with the butter and garlic. Let it simmer gently for 2-3 minutes.

Step 5

Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce thickens.

Step 6

Stir in the remaining 1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning and adjust seasoning with additional salt or pepper, if needed.

Step 7

Return the cooked tilapia fillets to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the fish. Let it simmer for another 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Step 8

Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
