Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 sprigs Fresh rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon Orange zest
  • 0.5 cup Fresh orange juice
  • 2 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.25 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Honey

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Step 3

In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Step 4

Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.

Step 5

Reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Step 6

Stir in the orange juice, orange zest, chicken broth, honey, and fresh rosemary sprigs. Simmer for 2 minutes, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze.

Step 7

Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over them.

Step 8

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake uncovered for 18-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).

Step 9

Carefully remove the skillet from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Step 10

Serve the chicken breasts hot, drizzled with the orange-rosemary sauce, alongside your choice of sides such as roasted vegetables or rice.
