Ingredients

  • 120 grams Roquefort cheese
  • 120 grams Mayonnaise
  • 120 grams Sour cream
  • 60 ml Buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon White wine vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Chives, finely chopped (optional garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, crumble the Roquefort cheese into small pieces.

Step 2

Add mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk to the bowl. Whisk together until smooth and creamy. If you prefer a chunkier dressing, only partially mash the cheese.

Step 3

Stir in the lemon juice, white wine vinegar, garlic powder, kosher salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Mix thoroughly to integrate all the flavors.

Step 4

If the consistency is too thick, whisk in a few additional teaspoons of buttermilk until the dressing reaches your desired consistency.

Step 5

Taste the dressing and adjust the seasoning with more salt or pepper, if needed.

Step 6

Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Step 7

Serve chilled, garnished with chopped chives if desired. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
