Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Shrimp (peeled, deveined, and chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons Shallot (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup Canned artichoke hearts (drained and coarsely chopped)
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
  • 1 bag or loaf Tortilla chips or bread slices (for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced shallot and garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.

Step 3

Add the chopped shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 4

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, grated Parmesan, shredded mozzarella, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Step 5

Fold the chopped artichoke hearts and cooked shrimp mixture into the cheese mixture.

Step 6

Transfer the mixture to a lightly greased oven-safe baking dish and spread evenly.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly with a golden top.

Step 8

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Sprinkle the dip with fresh parsley for garnish.

Step 9

Serve warm with tortilla chips or slices of bread for dipping.
