Ingredients

  • 2 hearts Romaine lettuce
  • 6 slices Prosciutto
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 0.25 cup Shaved Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Lay the prosciutto slices on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they do not overlap. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until crispy. Remove and set aside to cool.

While the prosciutto cools, prepare the vinaigrette by whisking together olive oil, lemon juice, honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Adjust seasoning to taste if needed.

Step 4

Wash and dry the romaine hearts. Chop them into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.

Step 5

Once the prosciutto is cool, break it into bite-sized crisps and add them to the salad bowl.

Step 6

Drizzle the prepared vinaigrette over the salad and gently toss to combine.

Step 7

Top the salad with shaved Parmesan cheese.

Step 8

Serve immediately and enjoy!
