Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Active dry yeast
  • 1.5 cups Warm water (110°F or 45°C)

  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 4 cups All-purpose flour

  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cornmeal (for dusting)
  • 1 large Egg white
  • 1 tablespoon Water

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the sugar and yeast in the warm water. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

Stir in the salt and two cups of the flour. Mix well until smooth.

Add the diced green chilies and olive oil to the dough. Gradually stir in the remaining flour, one cup at a time, until a soft dough forms.
