Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 0.5 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.

Step 2

Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom and slightly up the sides of the prepared pan. Pinch any seams together to seal.

Step 3

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the brown sugar and flour, cooking until the mixture thickens slightly, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Step 4

Spread the butter-sugar mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough base.

Step 5

Sprinkle the chocolate chips, marshmallows, and chopped nuts evenly over the base.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden and the crescent dough is cooked through.

Step 7

Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Once cooled, use the parchment paper overhang to carefully lift the bars from the pan.

Step 8

Cut into 12 equal-sized bars and serve. Enjoy!
