Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 piece large egg
  • 0.75 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 0.75 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing)

Directions

Step 1

Grease the inside of your crock pot with 1 tablespoon of butter to prevent sticking.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

Step 3

Add milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and the egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until the batter is smooth.

Slowly stir in the boiling water. The batter will become thin, but this is normal.
