Ingredients

  • 6 whole Roma tomatoes
  • 2 whole Habanero peppers
  • 3 whole Garlic cloves
  • 1 medium Yellow onion
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Water

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Step 2

Cut the Roma tomatoes in half and place them on a baking sheet, cut side up.

Step 3

Peel the garlic cloves and place them on the baking sheet alongside the tomatoes.

Step 4

Slice the habanero peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds if you prefer a milder sauce. Add them to the baking sheet.

Step 5

Peel and slice the yellow onion into thick wedges and place on the baking sheet.

Step 6

Drizzle the olive oil over all the ingredients on the baking sheet. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper.
