Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
Place the red bell peppers on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Roast them in the oven for 20-25 minutes, turning them occasionally, until the skins are charred and blistered.
Remove the peppers from the oven and place them in a bowl. Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and let the peppers steam for 10 minutes to loosen the skins.
