  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

If using fresh red peppers, preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and place the peppers on a baking sheet. Roast for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the skin is charred and blistered.

Transfer the roasted peppers to a bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let them steam for 5 minutes to loosen the skin. Peel off the skin, remove the stems and seeds, and set aside.
