Ingredients

  • 1 French baguette
  • 300 g Roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 120 ml Mayonnaise
  • 10 g Fresh basil leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest
  • 50 g Fresh arugula
  • 1 Tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Slice the French baguette in half lengthwise and lightly brush the cut sides with olive oil. Place it on a baking sheet cut side up.

Step 3

Toast the baguette in the preheated oven for 5–7 minutes, or until the edges are golden and slightly crispy. Remove from oven and set aside.
