Ingredients

  • 4 slices Ciabatta bread
  • 8 ounces Roast beef
  • 4 slices Provolone cheese
  • 1 cup Arugula
  • 1 large Tomato
  • 3 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a panini press or large skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and prepared horseradish until well combined. Set aside.

Step 3

Slice the tomato into thin rounds and season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.

Step 4

Brush one side of each slice of ciabatta bread lightly with olive oil.

Step 5

On the unbrushed side of two bread slices, spread the horseradish mayo evenly.

Step 6

Layer each sandwich with 2 ounces of roast beef, 2 slices of provolone cheese, a handful of arugula, and a few slices of seasoned tomato.

Step 7

Top with the remaining slices of bread, olive oil side out.

Step 8

Place the sandwiches on the panini press or skillet. Cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted. If using a skillet, press the sandwich down with a heavy pan for even toasting and flip halfway through.

Step 9

Remove from heat, slice the panini in half, and serve warm.
