Ingredients

  • 6 pieces Large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon White vinegar
  • 0.25 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh chives (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Gently place the eggs in a medium-sized saucepan and add enough cold water to cover them by about 1 inch.

Step 2

Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Once it reaches a rolling boil, turn off the heat and cover the saucepan. Let the eggs sit in the hot water for 10 minutes.

Step 3

While the eggs cook, prepare an ice bath by filling a large bowl with ice and cold water.

Step 4

Once the eggs have finished cooking, use a slotted spoon to transfer them to the ice bath. Let the eggs cool completely for about 5-7 minutes.

Step 5

Carefully peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Gently scoop out the yolks and place them in a medium bowl. Set the egg whites aside on a serving platter.

Step 6

Use a fork to mash the yolks until smooth. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix until fully combined and smooth.

Step 7

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites, evenly dividing the filling among the 12 halves.

Step 8

Sprinkle the deviled eggs with paprika and optionally garnish with chopped fresh chives.

Step 9

Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving.
