  • 2 pounds Ground chicken
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • 0.75 cup Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 medium, finely chopped Onion
  • 1 teaspoon Dried sage
  • 2 tablespoons, chopped Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons, melted Butter
  • 0.5 cup Chicken broth

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, bread crumbs, milk, and eggs. Mix until just combined.

Step 3

Add the finely chopped onion, dried sage, parsley, salt, and black pepper to the chicken mixture, and continue to mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Step 4

Pour the melted butter into the mixture and stir to incorporate it fully.

Step 5

Transfer the chicken mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing it down gently to form an even loaf shape.

Step 6

Pour the chicken broth evenly over the top of the loaf to ensure it remains moist during baking.

Step 7

Bake the loaf in the preheated oven for approximately 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Step 8

Once baked, remove the loaf from the oven and let it rest in the pan for 5-10 minutes to set.
