Ingredients

  • 2 cups Milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt

Directions

Step 1

Line a standard muffin tin with 12 paper liners. Set aside.

Step 2

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 cup of milk chocolate chips in 30-second increments, stirring after each interval, until smooth and completely melted.

Step 3

Spoon about 1 to 1.5 teaspoons of melted chocolate into the bottom of each paper liner and use the back of the spoon to slightly spread the chocolate. Place the muffin tin in the freezer for about 5 minutes to set.

Step 4

In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, butter (softened), and salt. Mix until smooth and well combined. The mixture should be thick but pliable.

Step 5

Scoop about 1 to 1.5 teaspoons of the peanut butter mixture, roll it into a small ball, and flatten it slightly to form a disk. Place each disk on top of the chocolate base in the muffin tin.

Step 6

Melt the remaining 1 cup of milk chocolate chips in the same way as before. Spoon another 1 to 1.5 teaspoons of melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer, ensuring it is fully covered.

Step 7

Gently tap the muffin tin on the counter to even out the chocolate layer. Place the muffin tin back in the freezer for about 10 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.

Step 8

Once set, remove the peanut butter cups from the liners and enjoy! Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or refrigerate for longer storage.
