Ingredients

  • 2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.75 cup Creamy peanut butter
  • 0.33 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1

Melt 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-30 second increments, stirring between each interval, until smooth and fully melted.

Step 2

Line a standard muffin tin with 12 paper liners. Add a small spoonful of the melted chocolate into each liner and use a spoon to spread it evenly across the bottom. Place the muffin tin in the freezer for about 5 minutes to set.

Step 3

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.

Step 4

Once the chocolate layer is set, divide the peanut butter mixture into 12 portions and shape them into small discs that fit into the muffin liners. Place one disc into each liner on top of the chocolate layer.

Step 5

Melt the remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips using the same method as before, and then spoon the melted chocolate over each peanut butter layer, spreading it evenly to completely cover the peanut butter.

Step 6

Place the muffin tin in the fridge for 30 minutes or until the chocolate is fully set.

Step 7

Once set, remove the paper liners and enjoy your homemade Reese's Peanut Butter Cups!
