Ingredients

  • 1 box Chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1.25 cups Water
  • 1 can (14 oz) Sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups Heavy whipping cream
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
  • 0.5 cup Creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup Mini Reese's candies
  • 0.25 cup Chocolate syrup
  • 0.25 cup Peanut butter sauce

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Step 2

Prepare the chocolate cake batter according to the instructions on the box using the eggs, vegetable oil, and water.

Step 3

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Step 4

Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes.

Step 5

Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes evenly across the cake.

Step 6

Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake, allowing it to soak into the holes. Let the cake cool completely.

Step 7

In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream on high speed until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue to whip until stiff peaks form.

Step 8

Fold the peanut butter into the whipped cream until fully incorporated to create a peanut butter whipped topping.

Step 9

Spread the peanut butter whipped cream evenly over the cooled cake.

Step 10

Sprinkle the mini Reese's candies on top of the whipped cream layer.

Step 11

Drizzle the chocolate syrup and peanut butter sauce over the top of the cake for added flavor and decoration.

Step 12

Refrigerate the poke cake for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together. Slice and enjoy!
