Ingredients

  • 2 cups Graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups Powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1.5 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 tablespoons Creamy peanut butter (for topping)

Directions

Step 1

Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it with non-stick spray.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, peanut butter, and melted butter. Stir until the mixture forms a smooth and cohesive dough-like consistency.

Step 3

Press the peanut butter mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, ensuring it forms an even layer.

Step 4

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and 4 tablespoons of peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the mixture is completely melted and smooth.

Step 5

Pour the melted chocolate and peanut butter mixture over the peanut butter layer in the baking dish. Use a spatula to spread it evenly over the top.

Step 6

Refrigerate the dish for at least 2 hours, or until the bars are firm and the chocolate topping has set.

Step 7

Once firm, remove the bars from the baking dish by lifting the parchment paper or gently loosening the edges with a knife. Cut into 16 squares or your desired size.

Step 8

Serve chilled or at room temperature. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
