Ingredients

• 3 oz Red gelatin (e.g., strawberry or cherry flavored)
• 3 oz Blue gelatin (e.g., berry blue flavored)
• 1 packet Unflavored gelatin
• 7 oz Sweetened condensed milk
• 1.5 cups Vodka
• 4 cups Cold water
• 4 cups Boiling water
• 1 can Whipped cream (optional, for garnish)
• 0.25 cup Red, white, and blue sprinkles (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Prepare the red layer: In a medium mixing bowl, combine 1 packet (3 oz) of red gelatin with 1 cup boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved, about 2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup cold water and 1/2 cup vodka. Stir to combine.

Step 2

Pour the red gelatin mixture evenly into 24 2-ounce shot cups, filling each about 1/3 of the way. Place the cups on a tray and refrigerate for about 1 hour, or until the red layer is completely set.

Step 3

Prepare the white layer: In a medium mixing bowl, sprinkle 1 packet of unflavored gelatin over 1/2 cup cold water. Let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom. Add 1/2 cup boiling water and whisk until the gelatin is dissolved.

Step 4

Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and 1/2 cup vodka. Mix well. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature for around 15-20 minutes before proceeding to avoid melting the red layer.

Pour the blue gelatin mixture evenly over the white layer in the shot cups, filling the shot cups almost to the top. Refrigerate for about 1 hour, or until the blue layer is completely set.
