Directions

Step 1

Peel and thinly slice the red onions into half-moons.

In a large skillet or heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the sliced red onions and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened and slightly translucent.
