  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cups cooked white rice
  • 0.25 cup sliced green onions (for garnish, optional)

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat.

Slice the smoked sausage into rounds and add them to the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes until browned. Remove sausage and set aside.
