Ingredients

  • 8 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Rinse and thoroughly dry the fresh spinach leaves.

Step 2

Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves.

Step 3

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.

Add the spinach to the skillet, a handful at a time, stirring constantly until it wilts slightly. Repeat until all the spinach is in the pan.
