  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 medium ripe banana
  • 0.5 cup spinach leaves
  • 1 large medjool date (pitted)
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 pieces ice cubes

Directions

Step 1

1. Soak the raw almonds in filtered water for at least 4 hours or overnight to soften them. Drain and rinse the almonds before use.

2. Add the soaked almonds and 1 cup of fresh filtered water to a blender. Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes until smooth to create almond milk.

3. Strain the mixture through a nut milk bag or fine mesh strainer into a bowl, discarding the almond pulp. Pour the almond milk back into the blender.
