Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Black peppercorns

Directions

Step 1

Heat a small, dry skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the cumin seeds, coriander seeds, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, allspice berries, fennel seeds, and black peppercorns to the skillet.

Toast the spices gently for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until they release their aroma. Be careful not to burn them.
