  • 6 pieces bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 0.25 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 piece lemons, thinly sliced

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 2

Season the chicken thighs with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.

Step 3

Place the chicken thighs into the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for 5-7 minutes until the skin is golden and crisp. Flip the chicken and cook for another 5 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Lower the heat to medium and add the minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
