Ingredients

  • 8 oz Goat cheese
  • 4 oz Cream cheese
  • 0.25 cup Dried cranberries (finely chopped)
  • 0.25 cup Fresh parsley (finely chopped)
  • 0.25 cup Chives (finely chopped)
  • 0.25 cup Roasted pistachios (finely chopped)
  • 3 tbsp Black sesame seeds
  • 0.25 cup Golden raisins (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 0.25 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 24 pieces Pretzel sticks or mini skewers (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine goat cheese and cream cheese. Use a wooden spoon or spatula to thoroughly mix until smooth and creamy.

Step 2

Add honey and ground black pepper to the cheese mixture. Mix well to incorporate all the flavors.

Step 3

Prepare small bowls or plates with the assorted toppings: cranberries, parsley, chives, pistachios, black sesame seeds, and golden raisins.

Step 4

Using clean hands or a small cookie scoop, portion out the cheese mixture and roll it into approximately 1-inch balls. You should make about 24 cheese balls.

Step 5

Roll each cheese ball in one of the prepared toppings, pressing gently to ensure the topping adheres well and fully coats the cheese ball. For a rainbow presentation, use a variety of coatings.

Step 6

If serving with pretzel sticks or mini skewers, insert one into the center of each cheese ball for easy handling.

Step 7

Arrange the cheese balls on a serving platter and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to firm up before serving.

Step 8

Serve chilled as a delightful appetizer. Enjoy!
