  • 300 grams penne pasta
  • 8 medium-sized radishes

  • 50 grams Parmesan cheese
  • 10 leaves basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 2 liters water

Directions

Step 1

Bring 2 liters of water to a rolling boil in a large pot. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente, typically about 9-11 minutes.

Step 2

While the pasta is cooking, wash the radishes thoroughly, trim off the roots and stems, and slice them thinly into rounds or half-moons.

In a large skillet, heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but not browned.
