  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 15 ounces kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 15 ounces black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup water or beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0 optional toppings (shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped cilantro, diced avocado)

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
