  • 70 grams Unsalted butter (divided)

  • 60 milliliters Dry white wine or brandy
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy cream
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme leaves (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the chicken livers under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Trim away any visible fat or connective tissue.

Step 2

In a large skillet, melt 50 grams of butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.

Step 3

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute, ensuring it doesn’t burn.

Add the chicken livers to the skillet, cooking for 5-6 minutes until browned on the outside but still slightly pink inside.
