Ingredients

  • 1 cup Pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup Heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 0.125 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Graham cracker crumbs (optional for garnish)
  • 2 tablespoons Whipped topping (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger, and salt. Stir until fully blended and set aside.

Step 2

In a separate chilled mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to whip the heavy whipping cream on medium-high speed until it begins to thicken, about 2 minutes.

Step 3

Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the whipping cream while continuing to beat. Beat until stiff peaks form, which will take an additional 2-3 minutes.

Step 4

Gently fold the pumpkin mixture into the whipped cream using a spatula. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream as you combine the two mixtures.

Step 5

Spoon the pumpkin whip into serving glasses or bowls. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the texture to set.

Step 6

Before serving, optionally garnish with a sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs and a dollop of whipped topping.
