Ingredients

  • 200 grams Paneer
  • 1 cup Fresh mint leaves
  • 0.5 cup Fresh coriander leaves
  • 2 pieces Green chilies
  • 4 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 medium (finely chopped) Onion
  • 2 medium (pureed) Tomatoes
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 0.25 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 2 tablespoons Cream
  • 2 tablespoons Oil or ghee
  • 1 to taste Salt
  • 0.5 cup Water

Directions

Step 1

Cut the paneer into cubes and set aside.

Step 2

To make the mint-coriander paste, blend together fresh mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chilies, garlic, and ginger with a few tablespoons of water until smooth. Set aside.

Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat.

Add cumin seeds and sauté until they start to crackle.

Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until golden and translucent.
