Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Using a sharp serrated knife, carefully remove the crusts from the bread slices to create a square or rectangular shape.
Toast the bread lightly in a toaster until just firm and pale golden, but not overly browned.
